External Job Title: Logistics SupervisorInternal Job Title: Supervisor, Inventory ManagementJob Location: Williamsport, PAThe Logistics Supervisor is responsible for Stockroom, Shipping & Receiving. The primary focus is to maintain and improve facility material flow and inventory under the general direction of Material ManagementResponsible for Stockroom, Shipping and Receiving housekeeping functions and safeguarding of assetsMaintains Inventory Accuracy in stockrooms; establishes and maintains warehouse locations, analyzes and corrects inventory errorsEnsures material is issued for production in a timely mannerSupervises Stockroom, Shipping and Receiving personnel.Interfaces with Production Control , Production Supervisors, Engineers and ManagementEvaluates process changes, creates procedures, prepares recommendations for management, and implements changes and improvements.Baan (ERP system) Coordinator, interfaces with IS personnel and end users to resolve problems and perform process improvementsUtilizes software to create custom queries, including SQL type queries, and reports for end users and management on an Ad Hoc basis or as part of a procedurePerforms other duties as assignedBachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Logistics, or equivalent experienceFormal training In Microsoft Access to at least the intermediate level, to include the creation of queries and databasesFamiliarity with SQL and custom report software such as Monarch or Crystal ReportsFormal Training in Microsoft Excel to at least the intermediate level, to include creation of Pivot Tables and Charts.A Minimum of two years experience with an ERP or MRP system, preferably Baan.Minimum of two year’s experience in an Inventory Management environment, familiarity with warehouse layout.Ability to supervise individuals.Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
