Launched in 2023 with its founding client and equity investor, the Madison Square Garden Companies, CPC is proud to exclusively represent the global partnership business across the MSG portfolio of companies, including: Sphere, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, The Chicago Theatre, New York Knicks, New York Rangers, MSG Networks, the Radio City Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular.This role will pay a base salary of $185,000 to $215,000.Benefits for FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays).This position will remain open until September 30, 2024Serve as the primary sales lead for the New York Rangers, a 'hunter' role' and an integral part of the Crown Properties sales team, with significant partnerships across our portfolio (Knicks, Rangers, MSG, Rockettes, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, Chicago Theatre, Sphere, MSG Networks)- including category-specific founding and official partnersRelentlessly prospect and drive outreach to potential partnersEngage in a partner-focused, consultative sales approach, identifying and understanding client needs and delivering creative solutions that drive revenueIn conjunction with the Partner Solutions and Strategy teams, develop best-in-class presentationsLead delivery of pitches and negotiationsMaintain existing C-Suite relationships and develop new ones; Serve as the corporate “face” of MSG Entertainment to prospective partners ensuring a healthy bench of executive relationshipsLeverage hosting assets, specifically events at Madison Square Garden and Sphere, to develop new relationships and close dealsContribute to a collaborative sales environment by working closely with all Madison Square Garden and Sphere revenue departments to ensure new partnerships are aligned with strategic objectivesEvolve with Crown Properties as it grows its clientele base to support sales efforts for future clientsDrive leads across the broader Oak View Group portfolio if/when appropriateParticipate in and embrace team culture where wins are collective and not individual; Celebrate successSpecial projects or other duties as assignedBachelor’s Degree required10-15 years’ sports/entertainment industry experience, ideally with a focus on complex, high-investment sales that require C-Suite sign offOther beneficial work experiences could include but are not limited to sports and/or live event marketing, brand management, corporate consulting or corporate affairsMust have the presence, visibility and record of accomplishment which will enable him/her to immediately establish credibility both within the organization and with individuals outside.Proficient writing and dynamic public speaking / presentation abilitiesA data-driven approach to sales and experienced in CRM (preferably Salesforce)At OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
