Role & Responsibilities -As a Research Manager, you will collaborate with the Project Leader and Consultant on key accounts/projects to deliver high-quality qualitative and quantitative research projects that delight our Clients and invites repeat business. You will be responsible for managing projects from kickoff to final presentation, ensuring excellence in research and client service. Specifically:Research Project ManagementDevelops a project timeline keeping internal team informed of progress and changesLiaises with appropriate internal functions (Operations, Finance), Project Team and client to ensure successful project management throughoutWrites and delivers client-ready screeners, utilizing input from the team as appropriateWrites and delivers near client-ready discussion guides and questionnaires, utilizing input from the team as appropriatePrepare and lead sections of client kickoff callsOrganizes and attends fieldwork, resolving client issuesin a timely mannerModerates in-depth interviews and focus groups Analyses data (content analysis, transcripts, tables etc.) and synthesizes findings Participates in and prepares project brainstorm, contributing to insight generation Collaborates with Project Leader to write client-ready debriefs / reports (utilizing review and input from Project Consultant), with a clear story that addresses the client’s business challengeParticipates in and presents sections of final results to the client in collaboration with relevant members of the team, maintaining accountability for the contentLine ManagementPotential to manage the performance, development and workload of one or two SRE/REInspire and activate team members to perform their best.Inputs into and helps operationalize the resourcing decisions made by Pod Leaders and/or Global Operations Client Partnership/GrowthEnsures high levels of client service and satisfaction on all projects, as part of Project TeamWhen leading client communications, develops and maintains strong relationships with clients to bring in repeat businessWhy you’ll be successful at The Planning ShopStrong internal drive and sense of accountability and ownership Outgoing personality, creative, curious, collaborative, detail-orientedYou demonstrate a passion for research excellence You’re a generous, collaborative team playerWorks effectively within and across teams; respecting and striving to cultivate the value each person brings to the project You identify with our core values: We’re insatiably curious | We cultivate creativity | We’re future facing | We win or we learn| We versus meWhat You’ll NeedMinimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a market research agency, preferably with pharma experience and one year as an SRE.Solid qualitative and/or quantitative research skillsModeration skills and experienceGood attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written communication and presentation skillsBachelor’s DegreeThe range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
