Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is hiring a full-time Lead Barista to join our team at the Lexington Airport in Lexington, Kentucky. Delaware North has operated here since 2019.Supervise and coordinate activities of concession team members on a per shift basis, including training, counseling and enforcing work procedures and service standardsInspect all stands and portables in the assigned area, ensuring all remain clean, sanitized, and safeAnalyzes and resolves all problems with team members, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management as neededVerifies stand inventories before and after each event, and as assignedVerifies food preparation for timeliness, and proper quantitiesEvaluates and documents performance of stand attendantsPerforms opening and closing procedures for assigned areaAssists concession associates in serving guests as business levels demandPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum of 1 year experience in food service position required; previous experience as a stand attendant or stand manager preferredPrevious cash handling/cashier experience requiredPrevious supervisory experience preferredNo high school diploma or GED requiredConstant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motionsAbility to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 poundsFrequently immerses hands in water, soaps and sanitizerMay be exposed to variable temperature
