This position is located on site at Fort Meade, MDLeads the development of an overarching training concept and leads the team that designs, develops and delivers training to a diverse DoD audience of range engineers on how to operate the world’s largest cyber range, the Persistent Cyber Range Environment (PCTE).Works with the customer to understand training goals and requirements and applies a variety of training concepts into solutions that satisfy requirements.Manages training and development schedules within allocated cost baselines.Makes decisions on how to best apply training across a variety of mediums including, but not limited to video, online, documents, and in person.Maintains relevancy with commercial training architectures, tools, processes and solutions and ensures that the overarching training program is informed by those emerging trends.Provides hands on in-person and video-based training to a variety of audiences utilizing training materials developed by or for the program.Supervises and mentors a training team.Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.A minimum of six (6) years’ experience managing technical training teams.Experience developing and delivering technical training.Strong personnel management skills.Familiarity with IT operations, VMware vSphere or NSX, Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory, Linux, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Puppet or Ansible, and routing and networkingExcellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge of or prior experience with PCTECompTIA Security+ certification (or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification)TS/SCI clearance is required.Occasional travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
