((1847) We're Hiring Join the Berry Team - YouTube (Responsibilities PURPOSE: To control and analyze inventory. SAFETY LEADERSHIP: Embodies commitment for a safe workplace; acts as a role model on safety leadership, activities and communication. RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITY: Identify and correct root causes and systemic problems for inventory discrepancies in work order completions. Determine obsolete and slow moving inventory. Track and find lost product. Prepare month-end reports pertaining to inventory levels and transactions. Understand and adhere to the ISO Quality System Understand and adhere to SQF. Adhere to all department safety GMP's and general work rules. PDM - item Set up. Item maintenance, including obsoleting and reactivating items. Maintaining machine standards. Run a variety of system reports when needed. Analyze report results and report problems to management. Coordinate cycle count process and results with WH leadership and material handlers. Handle overage and shortages in shipments. Input bulk and regrind resin into inventory. Enter misc. scrap numbers from the printing department. Make needed adjustments in our inventory. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred. Strong knowledge of Berry Global products. Good computer skills. Good organizational skills. Good communication skills. Good math and problem solving skills. Good attendance. Some accounting background preferred.
