With projects specifically chosen to both challenge and develop participants, our summer interns will gain valuable real-world experiences while learning to work together in collaborative teams and building a robust network within BNY. From day one, summer interns are immersed in BNYu2019s innovative and dynamic company culture as they will receive: Enterprise-led intern orientation program combined with ongoing an executive speaker series and virtual training curriculum designed specifically for summer interns Meaningful and challenging work assignments that deliver learning and skill development through practical work, mentorship, and training Career development and networking support from a host of corporate leaders including internship managers, senior and peer mentors, business stakeholders and a dedicated program manager Exposure to different areas of businessthroughout the organization Comprehensive professional etiquette and financial services fundamentals training, along with technical and business acumen development Understanding of BNYu2019s commitment to diversity and inclusion A collaborative and supportive community with full commitment of top-level management to deliver a premier internship/talent pipeline program within the financial services industry Chief Commercial OfficeThrough projects across the Chief Commerical Office, you will receive a panoramic view of BNY's entire global franchise, providing rare insight into the operation of one of the world's largest banks. In each of these roles, you will work on high-priority initiatives and develop a comprehensive set of analytical and interpersonal skills. As part of a highly selective program, you will gain unparalleled exposure to the senior leadership of BNY and its clients, while receiving personalized career guidance and support from a dedicated executive mentor. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be considered for high impact roles in multiple businesses and functions. You will play a critical role in each group and gain hands-on experience in solving business problems, with responsibilities that include: Support relationship management for the bank's largest, most important clients (e.g., developing cross-enterprise sales plans, preparing materials for client presentations) Conduct primary research on clients and industries to identify opportunities for relationship development and revenue growth Help brief senior executives in response to major client and industry events Program Eligibility Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred Individuals who will be graduating in December 2025 through June 2026 Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better Well-rounded experience including demonstrated leadership skills Strong excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables Excellent written and oral communication skills Not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the region where they apply.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
