OVERVIEW:If you are seeking an opportunity to engage in a dynamic community of adult education, JCC MetroWest has an exciting new part-time opportunity for an individual to be involved in every aspect of strategic planning and implementation of Jewish educational programming.RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide programming and administrative support to the Director of the Center for Jewish Life by, among other things:Work closely with director to plan, market and run Jewish adult education classes throughout MetroWestAssist Director as liaison with International Melton School, MetroWest school sites, rabbis, educators and studentsFoster relationships with students and assist them with registration for classesCollaborate with Marketing Department to create publicity materialsMonitor and maintain list of Hirschhorn Senior Adult Program speakers and entertainersCreate and maintain spreadsheets of student rostersReview and process invoicesCommunicate and collaborate with other departments to support Jewish programmingIf qualified, teach Melton School classes for additional remunerationOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Requires excellent interpersonal skill and ability to work well with PENSATION and BENEFITS: $24,960 per year (schedule: 20 hours per week)Benefits include paid vacation and sick time, retirement savings plan, free fitness center membership, and discounts for Early Childhood Center, Kids Club after school program, and Camp Deeny RibackQualified candidates should email a cover letter and resume to the attention of Rhonda Lillianthal, Director - Center for Jewish Life, at applicants for employment shall be considered without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, age, gender, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other classification protected by law.
