The HR Coordinator supports and facilitates an engaging company culture through purposeful, personable internal and external customer outreach. Provides prompt customer service to team members with frequent interaction in person, by phone and by electronic communications. Will be assigned functional responsibilities and provide support to other HR team members on larger program initiatives. General Duties and ResponsibilitiesProactively exhibits and promotes The McWane Way principles.1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members.Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.Wear appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection.Uses proper lifting and ergo techniques.Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)Employee Engagement Support and maintain good employee relations through employee engagement activities. Executes employee activities designed to enrich morale and employee commitment by assisting in creating, planning and facilitating inspiring employee initiatives, events, perks and celebrations."¯Develops, plans and manages special events which includes pre-planning, problem-solving, logistics, directing event set-up, communicating with staff and organizing vendors and managing take-down.Records ManagementMaintain hard copy and scanned copy personnel files and records in accordance with state and federal requirements and corporate guidelines, and the corporate retention policy.Completes verification of employment for current and previous team members.Distributes HR communications and maintains the HR Communication Boards.Conducts and analyzes exit interviews for hourly team members and provides summary reports.DevelopmentAssign Brainier training to applicable team members, monitor and record training.Track and maintain training records related to HR training programs, such as, The McWane Way, leadership, etc.Recruitment and OutreachSupport recruitment efforts as assigned. May include individual recruiting assignments or support of other HR team members in performance of their role.Attend job fairs, school career fairs, and other talent sourcing opportunities. A concentration in Human Resources is preferred.Human resources experience required; heavy manufacturing experience preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.Certification through SHRM or HRCI preferred.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
