We are looking for an Assistance Vice President of Finance to oversee all expense, budget, and accounts payables activities within the company. An ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills in a deadline-oriented environment.Oversees reconciliations of monthly accounts payable, expense report, and forecasts/budgetsAnalyze financial statements, forecast and budget dataEstablishes and maintains the appropriate accounting documentation, systems, and internal controls, processes, and dataEnsure all financial information has been recorded accurately and timely into Oracle general ledgerAct as a liaison with internal and external auditors to provide supporting documentation and any additional request they may haveEnsures departmental compliance with policies and proceduresReviews lease accounting entries and reconciliation (ASC 842)Prepares other financial reports or analyses, as requiredManage a team of 3 direct and 6 indirect reports.Bachelor’s degree in finance or accountingCPA or MBA is a plus6+ years professional experience, preferably in insurance industryThorough understanding of budgetary and accounting principles (GAAP and Statutory), practices, and policies.Expertise in Multi-Org Oracle Financials, General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Operating Expenses, Cash Management and Fixed AssetsProven record of good judgment in solving problems and handling challengesAbility and desire to work with technical and non-technical peopleProficient in Excel (pivot tables and Vlook ups)Strong management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Oracle, Wings, and Excel4Apps is a plus130-150K
