POSITION SUMMARY:To make a positive contribution and measurably impact the sales of Corporate Brand products as a team leader to insure completion of grocery store section resets. Support division's merchandising efforts in a manner consistent with Kroger's Corporate Brand Mission and P.L. Marketing.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:nnProvide customer assistance and have a working knowledge of Kroger's Customer 1st StrategynCommunicate and work with Kroger Set Team to complete store reset schedulenProvide direction and information to a group of Retail Reps assigned to a teamnTrain new employees and monitor performance of incumbent employeesnExecute mapping of storesnHelp identify opportunities to increase sales of Kroger Corporate Brands with recommendations for new items, improved product placement, pricing/promotional opportunities and resolution for any supply/stocking issuesnTrack and report sick, vacation and attendance issues to the Retail ManagernProvide feedback on general work performance of each Set Team Rep to Retail Manager for yearly reviewsnProvide a weekly recap to the Retail Manager detailing sections worked on/completed by store and the itinerary for the following weeknConsistently communicate retail opportunities to the Retail ManagernMust remain qualified as an insurable drivernOccasional overnight travelnMust be able to perform essential job function of this position with or without reasonable accommodationsnnMINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:nnHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentnCommunicate (read, write and speak) fluent EnglishnRead, understand and implement plan-o-gramsnBasic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordnComputer/internet access and knowledge of email and web based applicationsnAdapt to advancing technology and computer solutionsnExcellent communication skills and ability to work well with a teamnQualify as an insurable driver with excellent driving recordnHighly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervisionnnMINIMUM PHYSICAL ABILITIES:Must be able to:nnoperate motor vehicle unassistednremain standing and/or walking unassisted for several hours at a timenlift, push or pull 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis and occasionally up to 70 lbs.ncontinuously reach up and bend down, reach in all directions and have unlimitednupper body mobilitynlift and extend 30 lbs. above the head, sometimes repeatedlynhave unlimited manual dexterityntolerate exposure to extreme temperatures (0-90 degrees)nnDESIRED PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE:nnRetail store experiencenBroker experiencenSet Team RepnMerchandising RepnnCOMPETENCIES/SKILLS:Some of the Competencies/Skills required to successfully perform this position are:nnAdaptability-maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or culturesnBuilding Strategic Working Relationships-developing and using collaborative relationships with Kroger Set Team Leaders to facilitate the accomplishment of work goalsnBuilding Trust-interacting with Kroger Set Team Leaders in a way that gives Kroger employees confidence in one's intentions and those of the organizationnCoaching-providing timely guidance and feedback to P.L.
