You will be responsible for managing and maintaining all key systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, backup power, and alarm systems. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with architecture/engineering firms, manage construction and renovation projects, and lead a high-performing team.What's in it for you? You will be responsible for: Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of all key systems to ensure safe and reliable operation of all ATL sites Liaising with leased building management facilities points of contact to address leased space facility matters Planning and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of buildings, structures, equipment, and other facilities Gathering and reviewing data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility Coordinating with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings Preparing bid sheets for construction and facilities acquisition, renovation, rehabilitation Reviewing and estimating design costs including equipment, labor, installation, materials, preparation, and other related costs Inspecting or managing the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules Leading, developing, and collaborating with staff and peers to ensure you build a healthy high performing team Liaising with Corporate ESH representatives Maintaining knowledge of leasing terms and supporting ad hoc facility requests for one or more properties Overseeing shipping and receiving, property management, and P Card procurement activities by staffIf you are a motivated and experienced facilities management professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team and make a direct impact on the success of a world-class laboratory, we encourage you to apply. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
