THE FOCUS IS YOUAs a Client Accounting Senior, you will play a key role in overseeing client accounting operations and providing advanced financial support to clients. You will be responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your expertise in accounting principles, leadership skills, and client relationship management will contribute to the success of our client accounting services. WHAT YOU WILL DORegular duties include (but are not limited to):Client Accounting Support:Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities for assigned clients, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reportingComplete and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, reconciliations, and adjustmentsReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by the accounting teamCoordinate and lead month-end and year-end close processes for client accountsPrepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standardsAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, collaborating with clients and internal stakeholdersAnalyze financial data, identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and provide insights and recommendations to clients and managementClient Communication and Support:Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust and professionalismAddress client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide proactive financial guidance and supportUnderstand clients' business objectives and challenges and provide strategic financial advice and recommendationsProcess Improvement and Compliance:Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency within the client accounting functionEnsure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and client-specific requirementsSupport internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and addressing audit findingsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORRequired education and experiencePrior and current bookkeeping/accounting experience in public accounting, corporate or private businessHigh school diploma or GEDThorough understanding of intermediate accounting principalsProficient knowledge of accounting software, Excel, Word, and PowerPointPreferred education and experienceBachelor's Degree in accounting or equivalent experience requiredCPA license a plusExperience with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuiteTravelTravel may be frequent and unpredictable, depending on client’s needsWHO WE AREREADY TO DELIVERWe take pride in our ability to combine local knowledge with national, regional, and international skills to provide you and your organization with the best resources possible.
