The process includes, but is not limited to, aseptic collection of the tissue, packaging, labeling, shipment and obtaining informed consent for transplant, research and/or education.Primarily responsible for acquiring birth tissue in a hospital operating room environment using aseptic technique, along with packaging and shipment of tissue.Perform medical record review, donor evaluation and completion of informed consent.Perform thorough and accurate documentation of donor information.This position will be able to respond and arrive to designated locations within required time, wearing the appropriate attire.Communicates with hospital personnel and expectant parents.Actively develop relationships with staff at assigned hospitals by providing a high level of customer service.Attends and participate in corporate, clinical and other designated meetings as determined.Assist on special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.1 Year of Hospital, Public Health, or Customer ServicePC Literacy, Medical Terminology, Customer ServicePositive attitude and an exceptional bedside manner requiredProven ability to be comfortable in a patient care and surgical settingAbility to use a computer, Microsoft Office & the internet for data entry & retrieval of information
