Schedule:Monday - Friday8:30am - 5:00pmPay Range: $35 - $45Responsible for assisting physicians with the performance of invasive radiologic procedures, patient care, scrubbing at table side, circulating, and inventory. Counsels patients on the radiographic procedures to be performed.Assists physician in the placement of catheters.Secures patient consent for the performance of various radiographs.Positions patient on equipment. Operates fluoroscope and related equipment in the examination of patients.Assists physicians in the performance of invasive radiologic procedures.Monitors vital signs and notifies attending physician of changes.Prepares and organizes equipment necessary for special procedures.Ensures proper operation of equipment. Cleans equipment after use and forwards used equipment to Central Storeroom.Maintains inventory of supplies and drugs necessary for procedures conducted.Requires completion of an AMA approved program in RadiologĀic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school programARRT certified with current registration requiredRadiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians requiredBLS/CPR certification requiredMinimum of 6 months experienceJohns HopkinsHealth Systemand its affiliatesare an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
