Performs diversified duties of considerable responsibility under minimal supervision. Works collaboratively with physicians allied health practitioners, and other network personnel.JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum EducationHigh School Diploma required, Associates degree preferred.Required LicensesOtherCertified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM), or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) from the national Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) is preferred.Required SkillsBasic computer skills, data entry experience and accurate typing of 40 - 50 words per minutes required. Three years of relevant experience, preferably in a medical staff or managed care office. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel and Access preferred. Proficiency in MSOW or other credentialing software preferred. Must be well organized for prioritization of responsibilities; detail oriented; independent judgment skills in working with medical staff leaders to suggest procedural changes, agenda items for meetings; excellent spelling and grammar.
