This is a hands-on role focused on evolving and supporting our compliance and legal platforms. Besides regular individual contributions, this individual is expected to have deep technical expertise in our tech stack and have a breadth of knowledge on compliance technology trends in the industry. The Technical Compliance Data Analyst role involves working with Compliance and legal business partners on compliance platform supporting, assisting with data integration and automation, participating in platform administration, prioritization of functional enhancements and collaborating on compliance procedures.Serve as the technical SME and provide production support on a range of in-house and vendor applications used by Compliance and Legal including personal trading system, systems housing policies and procedures, documentation storage solutions, and electronic communications archival and surveillance systems.Partner with Legal and Compliance to understand capability requirements and develop and implement solutions.Assist in the evaluation of in-house/vendor solutions and provide support with application upgrade, decommissioning and implementation processes. Technical support to include coordination and execution of technical validation, and QA related activities.Proactively investigate, identify, and remediate potential system weaknesses.Develop data analytics and reporting capabilities for Compliance.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, physics, math, or related work experiences.Experience in Asset Management/Financial Services supporting Compliance/Legal/Regulatory teams highly desired.Technical Proficiency (10+ years of experience) in tools & technologies including SQL/data transformation, Database development, Python, Java, Excel.Preferred proven experience with Regulatory Technology (e.g. employee trading, MNPI/wall-crossing, conflicts clearance, certifications and registrations)5+ years of working experience in Data Analytics and Reporting tools/software (preferably Power BI)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesCandidate must be willing to take full ownership of projects, covering discovery, analysis, technical design and implementation, testing, and deployment tasksA strong desire to document and share work done to make support processes more efficient and transparentCandidate must be a self-starter, a dependable partner, and team playerLord Abbett is a leading global independent, privately held investment management company. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.Discretionary Bonus:Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus.
