From corporate campuses to single sites, EFS provides a range of services that support mission-critical areas of financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, transportation, and education sectors.Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob Summary:EMCOR Facilities Services has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician to work in (3) locations to include estimated (20%) Bethesda (75%) Rockville, MD and (5%) Arlington,VA (Mon - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm flexible). The Technician will be informed with as much notice in advance as to which location support is required and report to the EMCOR facility manager and support himher to provide quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment. Primary responsibilities of this position are to work directly with the EMCOR team members andor client to support them in the daily operations and needs of the facility. Must have computer skills to manage and utilize the facility building automation systems and communicate with the client effectively via phone and email. To assist with general maintenance needs at the facility and performing general maintenance of equipment as required. Knowledge of and capable to perform maintenance repairs and various general tasks assigned. Qualified applicant must be a US Citizen, possess a valid driver's license and have at least 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in facilities maintenance and dealing with a wide range of general type services. Must possess a professional appearance, excellent customer service and communication skills.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Performs a wide variety of corrective maintenance work request. Complete general maintenance request such as hanging pictures, furniture moves, replacing lights, ceiling tiles, carpet tiles and performing dailymonthly inspections. Responsible for managing the shipping receiving functions for the facility and delivering of mail on a daily municates effectively with the EMCOR maintenance team and client to determine service needs. Coordinates and supervise sub-contractors while performing service on site.Manage the reconfiguration of walls, doors, ceilings, lighting and perform any painting and touch up work for beautification of facility following an office adjustmentmove.Repair and unclog toilets, urinals, replace and maintain valve assemblies and repairmaintain sensors for automatic flush kits, as well as all other minor plumbing related to the facility. Carpet tile replacement and painting of small areas as requested.Maintain a strict PM schedule of various systems. Manage and maintain the AC and Heating equipment, make temperature adjustments, change filters and clean coils as needed.Assist other skilled employees to perform projects as requested as well as support loading dock activities and mailpackage delivery.Perform monitoring of the building automation computer system to ensure equipment is running and the building temperature conditions are in range.Qualifications:3 - 5 years of experience related to facility maintenance.HS DiplomaValid US driver's license.Notice to prospective employees:There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
