Our client is in search of a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable/Deductions Analyst to enhance the Finance Department at their Cherry Hill, NJ office. Under the guidance of the AR Supervisor, this pivotal position underpins the daily activities of the accounts receivable function. The Analyst is tasked with the prompt resolution of customer deductions and the analysis of patterns that may affect customer actions. The primary duties encompass thorough investigation, confirmation, settlement, and documentation of customer deductions, emphasizing proactive measures to avert future deductions.Salary: $27-$32/hr. Responsibilities: - Oversee a portfolio of premier Private Label and Branded clients, ensuring top-tier management and service.- Ensure prompt and precise entry, along with the upkeep of trade settlements, adhering to approved standards.- Validate promotional event specifics, verifying compliance with trade agreements and addressing any inconsistencies.- Analyze patterns in chargebacks, pinpointing common issues such as shortages, damages, unsaleable items, and pricing disputes.- Monitor and reconcile deduction balances, securing necessary documentation and data from principal clients.- Devise and implement strategies to mitigate and avert future deductions.- Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales departments to resolve chargebacks, including liaising with field sales and brokers for invoice discrepancies and supporting evidence.- Conduct follow-ups for additional documentation as needed, utilizing customer web-portals when necessary.- Assist the team Manager with the evaluation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular team updates.- Initiate and champion changes in deduction management processes, focusing on areas like Unsaleable goods, Shortages, and Payback.- Engage in cooperative efforts with various team members within the department, as well as with external brokers and clients.- Spearhead process enhancement initiatives and pilot new operational features and functions.- Offer support during internal and external audits.- Undertake additional general accounting duties and participate in related projects as required. Education and Experience:Minimum Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business is preferred2-3 years of related experience in Accounting or Finance.1-3 years of relevant work experience in consumer products manufacturing, with a preference for food and beverage industry experience.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
