For more information, visit ourwebsite, or connect with us onLinkedInorTwitter.Follow all Company policies as outlined in HandbookFollow all Berry GMPs, Safety Absolutes and Safe Working PoliciesFollow all safety and food safety policiesProactively troubleshoots, repairs, and corrects mechanical, electrical, and process problems to ensure capability of production equipment Assist in troubleshooting using PLC logic as a toolAssist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical breakdown of AC / DC drives and inverters to include programming and start up configuration/tuningAssist in designing electrical circuits on existing equipment for equipment / safety upgradesAssist in design / install of electromechanical upgrades to existing equipment to include DC to AC upgrades, PLC installation to replace discrete controlsOperates meters, power supplies, service monitors and test fixtures and understands their use and functionMaintain a working knowledge of all plant operating systems and readily access records of diagrams & schematics. Work with and help identify contractors to repair, install, remove and/or upgrade equipmentProvides 24/7 technical support for productionRegularly inspects production lines and support equipment and performs necessary repairs and upgrades during preventative maintenance cycles Operates hand tools and small power tools to include cutting of small partsLeads assembly, installation, disassembly, and demolition of production equipment and building support equipment as required for upgrades or new installations Maintains a neat and orderly work area; meets plant and department housekeeping standards. May be assigned additional housekeeping responsibilities throughout the plant as needed to maintain a clean and orderly work space. Maintains building and grounds Participates in employee driven teams to address scrap, quality, safety or other production related issues. Observes safety and security and security proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned or requestedHigh School diploma or GED is required2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance including troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentMust have solid electrical and mechanical skillsMust be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical blueprints, drawings, and schematicsMust demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions with little or no supervisionPossess basic computer skills Possess basic mathematical skillsPossess experience using hand toolsRequired to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl while working on a variety of machineryAble to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistanceMust be able to climb ladders, work from a lift, work with and around electricity, and may be required to work in confined spacesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Mechatronics degree is a plusExperience with blown film manufacturing and converting equipment
