The combined efforts of the organization's outstanding physicians, superb nurses, and dedicated clinical and professional staff have made us one of the most highly respected healthcare organizations in the state, the largest employer in Passaic County, and one of the nation's 100 Best Places to Work in Health Care.Job OverviewResponsible for the operational administration and technical management of all assigned servers, applications and/or workstations throughout the organization including but not limited to: daily system monitoring, storage media management, user management, quality control and performance monitoring, study monitoring and patient information management, security, network monitoring, training, management reporting, trouble-shooting and problem solving, and planning and coordination. Financial/System Process Coordinator: Responsible for assisting in initiatives to ensure compliance with governmental and industry, privacy and security regulations and related industry standards. Plans and executes process reviews for improvement of information system capabilities and correct identified deficiencies. Monitors the Health Care environment for changes in federal and state regulations impacting information systems, and identify and implement appropriate changes.QualificationsWork requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Science or closely related field plus two to three years of previous work experience in hospital information systems administration and workflow. Knowledge of and experience with client/server technology, networking, user management, project management and databases are preferred. Work requires experience in multiple system applications. Work requires the ability to draft and edit the context of business and technical document, conduct formal training/orientation sessions for employees, assign and follow up of the work of other employee, or perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill. Work requires the analytical ability to resolve complex problems requiring the use of basic scientific, mathematical or technical principles and in-depth, experience-based knowledge.
