POSITION SUMMARY:nTo impact the sales/margins of our clients' products positively and measurably through the support of Business Managers, Analysts and other Administrative Support personnel. nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:nnThis hybrid position will be required to work in our Corporate Office at least one-half day per week based on your team's schedule.nFull-time administrative support for 360 Business ManagernCommunicate with Kroger, Suppliers and P.L. Marketing employees in a professional mannernCreate/update Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.nUpdate and maintain item grids (spreadsheets)nPrepare and distribute weekly and period reportsnPrepare period sales plan files to enter ESP.nCost changesnUse of computer applications, ex. KCMSDW, Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, WordnPrepare period sales plan and send information to vendorsnPrepare weekly sales estimates for Account Managers and VendorsnPrepare period forms to send to Kroger (ex. Merchandising Forms, Profit Surveys, etc.)nCreate sales meeting PowerPoint presentationsnRequires strong attention to detail and ability to check work for accuracynnMust be able to perform essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationsnMINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:nnHigh school diploma or GED equivalentnAbility to read, write and communicate fluently in the English languagenKnowledge of internet, email and web based applicationsnMust have strong Microsoft application skills, specifically proficient with editing and creating Excel spreadsheets, and the ability to learn new programsnAdapt to advancing technology and Kroger systemsnAbility to recognize and set prioritiesnExceptional organizational skillsnSkill and diplomacy in dealing with peoplenAble to interact effectively with all of the cross-functional teams to accomplish common goalsnAbility to work independently and with limited supervisionnExperience handling customer inquiries and issuesnnMINIMUM PHYSICAL ABILITIES: nnMust be able to:nnremain standing/sitting for several hours at a timenlift 10-15 lbs. occasionallynnnnDESIRED PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE: nnAdministrative support position in office environmentnRetail or grocery experiencennCOMPETENCIES/SKILLS: nSome of the Competencies/Skills required to successfully perform this position are:nnAdaptability-maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or culturesnBuilding Strategic Working Relationships-developing and using collaborative relationships with Merchandising Managers, Account Managers, Analysts, ASP's, Vendors, CSM Teams and Category Managers to facilitate the accomplishment of work goalsnBuilding Trust-interacting with Kroger suppliers and employees in a way that gives Kroger management confidence in one's intentions and those of the organizationnCommunication-Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to Kroger and P.L.
