We offer everything you expect, plus a retirement plan, paid time off, education assistance, pay advances up to $500, recognition programs and free meals.What you’ll doYou’ll oversee the day-to-day cleaning activities in resident and patient homes and rooms, common areas and administrative offices. You’ll also be a master at working with our commercial grade washing machines and dryers providing fresh, crisp linens and personal items to residents. We will look to you to plan, organize, develops, and direct all housekeeping and laundry activities. Respecting resident and patient property, listening to their wishes and reporting any maintenance concerns are also part of your day. What it takesHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredBachelor’s degree in a related field preferredCertified Executive Housekeeping designation from the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) preferredCertified Laundry and Linen Management (CLLM) designation from Association for Linen Management (ALM) preferredThree years of housekeeping and/or laundry operations management requiredExperience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or other related medical facility preferredKnowledge of laundry and/or housekeeping practices, procedures, standards, guidelines, and regulations in a long-term care environmentAbility to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, kneeling and being on your feet all dayOhio Living Llanfair is one of Cincinnati’s premier retirement communities, located in the College Hill area.
