Check out our company page: https://www.imagefirst.com/company/The Regional Safety Manager will support multiple plants in an assigned region by serving as the key resource for safety activity and improvement. The RSM will provide safety support and leadership guided by our Operating Principles and our Be Safe Value. The RSM is responsible for partnering with, and supporting, location General Managers and their teams, in safety improvement initiatives and reducing losses. Responsibilities:Support and lead plants in assigned region, striving for continuous improvement in Safety Metrics that meet or exceed industry benchmarks. Serve as a co-leader on Front Line Staff (FLS) Safety Roundtable.Partner with field support teams and location teams to facilitate key safety and health programs and initiatives at the plant level.Support the ImageFIRST fleet safety program to reduce vehicle incidents and damage.Proactively search, understand, and advise on all applicable regulatory standards and certification requirements, including but not limited to: OSHA, DOT, HLAC, etc.Foster a climate of inclusion to optimize Associate engagement in our safety culture.Analyze safety data and trends, both leading and lagging indicators, to drive a proactive approach to safety.Regular development of safety training for ImageFIRST University and promote safety and health professional development.Conduct regular site visits to provide on-site safety service to facility teamsFrequent travel (> 50%) requiredMeasuresSuccessful completion of assigned work and measurables, defined by Director of SafetyPerformance feedback from General Managers at supported locationsSafety rates (TRIR, DART, Preventable Vehicle Incident Rate, CIR)Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience5+ years diversified experience in safety program implementation and executionExperience interacting and effectively communicating with personnel at all levels Ability to develop and maintain relationships that drive accountability and desired resultsAbility to work independently and make decisions that demonstrate integrity and support the organization’s purpose and valuesProficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power PointProficient in EHS software systems (internal and external)Willingness to participate in formal safety education and developmentRecognized safety certification (CSP, SSH, etc.) is a plusRequired Competencies:Be Respectful: Value all we come in contact withBe Remarkable: Create a positive moment with every interactionBe Safe: Keep ourselves and those around us safeBe Honest: Be guided by truthfulness in all we doBenefits:Competitive payMedical, Dental, VisionPet, Legal, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance401k (match)Paid Time Off PackageGreat company cultureCollaborative team environmentEOE / Drug-Free WorkplaceWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
