Keep reading.The Cashier provides timely, accurate and friendly service while ensuring a smooth and accurate payment process of guests leaving the cafeteria or outlet.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)Required to attend Liquor Control Board Seminar.Will be assigned the necessary cash and keys required for register.Responsible for ensuring proper change before beginning of shift.Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).Report all equipment problems to manager.Assist the restocking and replenishment of candy/condiment inventory and supplies. Also responsible for maintaining supplies in coolers.Process cash-up at the end of shift, ensuring that no money is left in register.Check in with supervisor at the end of shift.Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the outlet as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.Other duties as assigned, which could be directly related, or un-related to original position.SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSMust be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as neededHospitality or bartending training an assetMust be able to stand for an extended amount of timeMust display the importance of responsible and accurate cash handlingWHY WORK AT JAY PEAK?We're a team of good-natured folks at the heart and soul of a growing resort community.
