Experience needed.The Facilities Assistant is responsible for building and landscape upkeep, which includes cleaning and maintenance for health and safety of Bank properties. Working under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager performs variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor plumbing and electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing and functionality of all building. Accessing and troubleshooting HVAC system. Performs routine, repetitive daily cleaning, inspection, and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior.Perform emergency repairs as necessary to maintain the day-to-day operations of various bank facilities.Performs general grounds keeping daily, inspects outside of Bank building areas, ensure disposal areas are kept clean and in a safe condition for customers.Assists and performs semi-skilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair, and construction tasks in the upkeep of Bank buildings.Assists and performs functions in the maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, and a variety of other structures and items.Troubleshoot and access weekly safety checks throughout the facilities to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patrons of the facility and to eliminate any hazards. If necessary, provide recommendations to Management on fixing the issue or contact the appropriate vendor to eradicate noted hazards.Provides Security Clearance in the morning before Bank is open when necessary.Ability to recognize public safety concerns and the initiative to act upon quickly and in the appropriate manner. Picks up and delivers mail and transfer items to different bank locations and makes service/errand runs as needed.Coordinates pick up of shred material with contracted shred company as needed. Also, provides empty bins for paper shredding for all departments.Cleans, stocks, set up, and tear down Bank events including the Bank Board Meetings.Performs other assigned maintenance/janitorial duties as assigned.Works with Facilities Maintenance Software entering data to ensure routine and non-routine maintenance is captured into a data base on all completed facilities responsibilities so that data analysis can be performed when generating future budgets.Assist with maintaining and procuring fleet vehicle services when necessary.
