In other words, we strive to be the best we can be.POSITION OVERVIEW: The Project Manager will serve as a key member of the Government Affairs Team, with a focus on managing grease interceptor regulatory projects across North America. The successful candidate will contribute to building Infiltrator Water Technologies’ (Infiltrator’s) nascent gravity and hydromechanical grease interceptor market. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, engineering judgement, ability to understand regulatory requirements, interpersonal skills, and relationship building.Key Responsibilities:Serve as Infiltrator’s lead on North American grease interceptor regulatory, testing, and certification issues.Lead and manage grease interceptor regulatory approval projects from inception to completion.Assist in the identification of GGI and HGI market opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to develop, test, and certify grease interceptor product designs.Provide customer and sales team support related to grease interceptor product offerings. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in grease interceptor technology.Participate in standards and rule development associated with grease interceptor technology.Develop and maintain product technical literature.Deliver presentations on technical topics in small group settings and trade shows.Contribute to the management of regulatory issues for other offerings in the Infiltrator product portfolio.Qualifications:10+ years of experience with grease interceptor regulation, design, testing, certification, and sales.Proven experience with grease interceptor regulations, codes, and standards and the administrative processes necessary to gain product approvals and certifications in the North American market.Proven experience in project management involving grease interceptors.Involvement with onsite wastewater treatment systems is a plus.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with regulatory agencies, customers, and team members.Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering or related field, with advanced degree a plus.Professional engineer, engineer-in-training, registered sanitarian, or registered environmental health specialist, or other relevant credentials.Excellent technical writing skills with proficiency in developing well-written, well-organized, quality documents for agency submission and use as company literature.Independent problem solving and ability to quickly distill written information.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to travel 15% of the time.Nice to Have:Code Compliance experience for manufacturing productsThe Project Manager will be expected to provide management, leadership, focus, and direction for driving positive results on grease interceptor regulatory acceptance and market development.
