QUES has the knowledge and expertise to handle a full spectrum of projects. From the most straightforward, single-component installation to the most complex, multi-state projects, QUES handles the job safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to provide overall administrative, technical, financial, and resource management of design projects from initial bid preparation through completion. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering the project safely, in accordance with quality standards, on time, and within budget.Provide oversight of project financials and contract managementProject cost forecasting, monthly cost to complete development, and accuracy of reportingOverisght of project invoicing or payment application processSupervise, mentor, and train project managersSchedule and manage subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliersMonitor and manage project scope and develop, negotiate, submit, track, and maintain client and/or subcontractor change orders when necessaryWork closely with the design team to ensure successful delivery of multiple projectsBuild and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractorsSetup, organize, update, and maintain electronic and printed files of project documents utilizing Microsoft Office Suite; Primavera P6; EcoSys; QuickBase; B2W; and othersReview cost reports and evaluate methods to reduce cost while maintaining productivityManage budget projection for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors procured on the projectGenerate daily, weekly, or monthly meeting documents as requiredAssume additional responsibilities as directed by managementBachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred8+ years of relevant work experience; ideally a combination of project management and design engineeringStrong technical knowledge of design engineering, ideally within the electrical utility spaceStrong understanding of project controls and profit and loss financialsWorking knowledge of local electrical Utilities is strongly preferredAbility to understand process development and maintenanceEffective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening) and ability to lead meetingsAbility to track multiple projects at the same time to ensure on-time completionStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, SharePointFamiliarity with or ready to learn corporate systems with preference given to Primavera P6, JD Edwards, Hubble, EcoSys, QuickBase, and B2W technology platformsThe anticipated compensation for this position is USD $120,000.00/Yr. - USD $155,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
