Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and closely manage the Division's team and support all decisions made within this teamIdentify, recruit, develop and retain members of your team including, but not limited to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Administrative AssistantPrepare annual or special performance reviews, evaluate and recommend salary and bonus changes, and discipline team members when appropriateProvide first-class customer service by selling our Company to the customerWork closely with Pre-Construction and Operations Manager in the development of new salesVisit customers and encourage direct business development and sales activities for the Construction DivisionReview and negotiate terms and conditions of contractsReview and negotiate terms and conditions of subcontractsSupervise production planning meetingsWalk projects frequently with the team, superintendent, foreman and project managerAssist Project Mangers with change order negotiationsReview monthly requisitions for cash flow implicationsRun monthly receivables meeting and assist Project Managers with customer collectionsReview Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers work monthlyReview monthly Project Managers status reports and react as appropriatePrepare, monitor and attend monthly Work-In-Progress meetingsReview and monitor department financial statementPlan department monthly activities calendarHold monthly department staff meetingsFormulate and monitor yearly department budgetAssist other departments when neededAssist Company leadership in running the companySubmit assignments on timeTreat others as you wish to be treatedAttend monthly Manager's meetings and discuss any ideas or issues concerning division personnel, projects, customers or other issues affecting the CompanyReview for approval division paid-time off leave request and timesheetsEstablish and enforce company policies regarding the conduct, phone and computer usage and ethicsParticipate in project budget development and project cost to complete forecastingAttend project turnover meetings held with estimating and field management personnelEncourage department personnel's participation in educational programsParticipate in associationsnetworking functions that the company belongs toTrain Project Managers and Assistant Project Manager through our Project Manager outline and company proceduresReview and approve all job purchase ordersWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed inside and outside which may include adverse weather conditions.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
