In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding their presence in the outpatient health industry. The business development Director plays a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion for the company. The role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, exceptional strategic thinking, and strong leadership skillsEstablish and maintain relationships with referral sources, such as physicians, payers, and case managersWork with business leaders to review and grow the organization’s business strategyMonitor industry activities and developing competitive strategiesDevelop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, strategic partners, and other stakeholders of the healthcare sectorCreate short- and long-term plans to achieve goals and objectives for the business development departmentOverseeing the pre-admission function and other aspects of the businessCraft and deliver pitches and form relationships with the customer from the physicians to executive levels.Oversee the day to day activities of one or more functions within the organization’s business officesDraft proposal narratives, create draft budgets to package proposals and reports appropriatelyWork with team members, Executive Director and Deputy Director to raise support from healthcare communitiesPreparing business plans and budgets to present to management or clientsMBA is requiredProven experience within the healthcare industry especially nursing homesMust be able to work in the field two days a week and be in the office three days a weekExcellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation, and persuasion skillsMinimum 3+ years’ experience or exposure to business managementStrong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and MedicaidExcellent business and technical acumen and are able to identify and seize opportunitiesDetail-oriented and highly organizedEssen Health Care*is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically-diverse population.
