Vice President, Advancement AdministrationDartmouth HealthDartmouth Health and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College are pleased to announce a national Vice President of Advancement Administration search.The Vice President of Advancement Administration at Dartmouth Health is responsible for leading a best-in-class, comprehensive Advancement Administration team that provides the infrastructure for the advancement operations at Geisel School of Medicine and the system members of Dartmouth Health.Given the complexities of this role, the successful candidate must be a seasoned advancement professional with a commitment to excellent customer service. We are seeking a strong team builder with a collaborative leadership style. Demonstrated experience using data analysis to guide strategic discussions and goal setting is necessary, as is having a deep understanding of the philanthropic process and the impact of institutional giving on the academic medical enterprise.The selected individual will join a thriving team that values a positive work environment for all members. The successful candidate will be someone who brings a sense of humor to the workplace and joy to the work being done.About the job:Reporting to the Chief Development Officer for Dartmouth Health and Vice President of Development at Geisel School of Medicine, the Vice President of Advancement Administration serves as member of the executive and senior leadership teams in the Development Office with management responsibility for all administrative and internal infrastructure functions of the office. This includes budgeting, human resources, gift accounting, information technology, reporting, prospect development and research, stewardship, and philanthropic services.This individual serves as a point person for comprehensive campaign accounting, management, and reporting. They are also a key liaison to the Offices of Finance, Human Resources, and General Counsel at Dartmouth Health and Geisel School of Medicine as well as to the Central Advancement Office of Dartmouth College.As the Dartmouth Health system continues to grow, this Vice President will lead the strategic integration of key systems and operations for health system member organizations including Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (Lebanon, NH), Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (Lebanon, NH), Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (Windsor, VT), New London Hospital (New London, NH), Valley Regional Hospital (Claremont, NH), and the Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire (White River Junction, VT).As all members of the Development senior leadership team do, the person selected to serve in this role will be asked to represent the Chief Development Officer and the Development Office in various internal and external meetings.About Dartmouth Health:Dartmouth Health is New Hampshire’s largest, and only academic, health system.
