PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Contacts customers face-to-face, by telephone and/or email, to confirm, coordinate, and update details for scheduled catering activitiesDetails each group's catering needs which may include but is not limited to: menu planning, meal time, and room set upTracks all guarantees and deadlines based on contractCoordinates with the Executive Chef and Catering Manager to ensure specified arrangements are carried out as plannedCompletes projects as directed in relation to the area of responsibilityAssists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Food Runners, Servers, Set Up StaffResponsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfactionAssists management in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the department Any other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Passion for hospitality, food, and client serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsMust be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions for problems that may occur in the FOH, be self-motivated, and organizedComputer skills a must and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel. Familiar with sales systems such as Salesforce and CatereseAbility to work in standing position for long periods of timeBe able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
