Lifeguard & Swim Instructor for Summer 2024

The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is looking for qualified swim instructors & lifeguards to join our team for Summer 2024! The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Instructors will teach campers during instructional swim periods as per the American Red Cross guidelines; Camp will run Mondays through Fridays, 9am-3pm for the period June 24- August 16Ensure the safety of patrons in and around the poolObserving and enforcing all aquatic policies, rules and regulationsRecognizing and responding efficiently in emergenciesParticipating in monthly staff in-services Providing excellent customer serviceOther duties as assignedPart-time, hourly $17-20/hour Minimum Qualifications: Position Requirement Strong communication and teamwork skillsMust hold valid Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificationSwim instructors must have experience, WSI preferred Salary: Under $25,000 Agency Information: Kaplen JCC On The Palisades is a welcoming home away from home for all who pass through its front doors.
