Come and experience your future WHO WE AREWe are seeking an Early Career Systems Diagnostics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of Diagnostics Software (SW) in support of the MH-60R/S platform avionics systems, subsystems, and components. The diagnostic software is currently written in Perl and LabView. In order to make the system more robust and tailor it to our customers' needs it will involve converting everything to C#. This position is a multi-faceted role and it will involve test planning, test execution, creating requirements and the mapping of requirements.A level 2 employee is typically junior-career and has 1 to 2+ years of professional experience.THE WORKIn this role you will: Develop and release Diagnostics SW across multiple aircraft configurations and part numbers. Design diagnostics software and maintenance procedures for new or updated subsystems and avionics boxes, ensuring compatibility across various aircraft configurations and system software versions. Provide support for diagnostics SW regression testing, diagnostics release testing, and Problem Trouble Report (PTR) testing. Generate and maintain relevant documentation, including diagnostics software requirements, design specifications, processes, and drawings for different programs and aircraft configurations. Coordinate PTR status with the Diagnostics lead and team members, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Allocate and document Diagnostics requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Plan and execute diagnostics development and release testing activities, including simulation, lab testing, regression testing, and aircraft testing. Conduct design analysis, system modeling, and testing, applying system engineering principles with a focus on Reliability and Maintainability (R&M), systems diagnostics, and troubleshooting.WHO YOU ARE Someone who possesses robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of performing design analysis and system modeling. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000.
