The Finance Inventory Control Manager ensures all sites adhere to inventory processes and procedures. This includes but not limited to ensuring all inventory related procedures and documentation are updated on an ongoing basis and compliant with industry best practices; ensuring all sites are adhering to compliance of inventory procedures & cycle counts; review and analysis of inventory related movements; and working with partners to resolving inventory discrepancies. The role will leverage business analytics for inventory to identify root causes. The Manager will be required to travel to all Benjamin Moore locations on a regular basis to ensure compliance with inventory best practices. The Manager will partner with Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure compliance with process and procedures, share analysis findings and continually drive process improvements.Reporting Structure:The Finance Inventory Control Manager will report to the VP of FP&A as part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team. There are direct reports reporting into this role.Key Responsibilities Maintains inventory controls oversight. Responsible for ensuring all inventory related polices & procedures documentation is updated and reviewed on an ongoing basis and aligns with industry best practicesEnsure site employees are effectively trained for cycle count and inventory related system transactions through periodic auditsFor areas of control deficiencies, facilitate the establishment of procedures and development of appropriate documentation to mitigate issues and prevent issues going forwardPlan and execute periodic site audits inclusive of inventory control procedures and adherence to policies and proceduresCompile & present concise monthly summary and actionable reports for business leaders on monthly basisAnalysis of inventory stock movements focused on identifying outliers/issues, root cause, and findings. This includes but not limited to manufacturing & warehouse deliveries, inter-movement transfers, scrapping, negative on hands and faulty stock movementsStrong knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation and the ability to examine data and draw accurate, meaningful conclusions that can be turned into preventive or corrective action plansSupport Continuous Improvement surrounding process improvement projects by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve inventory controlsAbility to travel, including overnight travel to conduct unannounced cycle count audits at all Benjamin Moore locations.Provide leadership, employee development and adhere to the values of Benjamin Moore instilling the value of trust, openness, and collaboration within the FP&A teamRequired SkillsA bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, supply chain, information science or related field, or equivalent work experience.10+ year of experience. Ability to operate and influence effectively across the organization and within complex contexts. SAP experience a plus but not required.Demonstrated leadership; ability to develop direct reports, history of leading complex, multidisciplinary teamsLeader with the ability to communicate openly and honestly with colleagues and customers.
