The Packer will play a crucial role in supporting our Finishing and Warehouse departments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing type of environment however, we are willing to train!Hours: Monday - Friday 10pm until 6a (+$2 shift differential)Pull master rolls from Press Department and move to Finishing staging area to be used by Rewind operatorsAssemble boxes for use in packing finished goodsPlace rolls of finished product in cartons, tape & label cartons of finished goodsPlace completed cartons on skid or cartLabel completed skids and takes to scale for weighingConvey finished skid to warehouse holding location to be placed into inventoryReplenishes stock of raw materials at each Rewind station and in the Rewind Area using pallet jackCompletes paperworkHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceOne year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environmentpreferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walkThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistanceWhy work with us?
