We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Cook and dishwasher/prep position at Currie Municipal Golf Course. This is full time job, Perfect for those who are looking for a fast paced culinary position. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop and hone your skills. We eagerly wait for your applicationGeneral Purpose:Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, guest consumption and guest enjoyment.Essential Duties: Assists in the food preparation for the assigned station including; pantry, broiler/grill or sauté. Prepares and cooks ordered items during restaurant service according to Chef's specifications. Inspects all stations in Kitchen at the end of each shift to make sure they are all broken down and cleaned to sanitation standards. Ensures proper food storage methods, labeling, rotation and temperature controls for all food items. Ensures proper portion control and proper plating presentations.Non-Essential Functions: Other duties as required.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Average knowledge of industrial equipment including range, ovens, slicer, deep fryer and grill. 2-3 years line experience a must. Culinary degree preferred.Details: Full-Time hourly. Must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Includes full benefit package, vac/sick/hol, 401k+match.
