Senior Principal, Product Strategic Programs The Senior Principal, Product Strategic Programs, will report to the AVP of Product Strategy & Operations. This individual will drive collaborate cross-functionally to standardize and operate Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) release tools and processes for the company's Talent and Learning product suite. In this role you will Collaborate cross-functionally to standardize and operate Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) release tools and processes for the company's Talent and Learning product suite, Manage a portfolio of products through planning, prioritization, resourcing, and execution for the Talent and Learning product suite, Create process documentation and drive process adoption, Communicate processes to various stakeholders, both within the team and across the organization, Proactively monitor release activities, and where possible, automate this monitoring by using existing tools such as Jira and the company's roadmap planning tool, Drive alignment among cross-functional teams by hosting weekly meetings and proactively managing agenda topics, Keep a customer-focused mindset to ensure that operational processes align with delivering value to end-users, Proactively address challenges and roadblocks, finding practical and efficient solutions Be adaptable to the rapidly evolving landscape of SaaS, adjusting processes and strategies as needed to meet changing demands, Run ad hoc product-team initiatives that are core to Cornerstone's product strategy, including managing timelines and deliverables. You've got what it takes if you have... Previous experience in streamlining operational activities, Previous experience with product and software lifecycle and agile practices. Experience influencing and engaging with senior leaders, Understanding and compassion for leaders, acknowledging the challenges posed by their busy schedules and varied priorities, Ability to self-manage and prioritize projects and tasks, Conviction to stand by unpopular decisions, Respect but not be shackled by process, Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, Executive presence with experience presenting to large groups, Flexibility to travel no more than 10% a year. An extra dose of awesome if you have Previous experience with Cornerstone's products, especially CSX (Cornerstone), SBX (Saba), or SumTotal products, Proficiency in utilizing Jira to develop and execute advanced queries and reports, demonstrating a keen understanding of the platform's capabilities to enhance project tracking.
