Automotive Repair Technician with a strong focus on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) diagnostics, repair, and programming. Utilize understanding of automotive electronics, engine management systems, and PCM functionality. Identify and resolve PCM-related issues. Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify PCM-related malfunctions, errors, and performance issues. Interpret diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and other system-related data to pinpoint the root causes of problems. PCM Repair and Programming: Perform repairs on PCMs by soldering and replacing faulty components, such as capacitors, resistors, and integrated circuits. Ensure compatibility and compliance with manufacturer specifications during PCM programming. Qualified applicants must have 18 months experience as an automotive technician focusing on PCMdiagnostics and repair. Must have strong knowledge of various OEM and manufacturer specifications for PCM
