Position Title: Senior Analyst, System Ground Service Equipment (LSC) Position Summary The Senior Analyst, System Ground Service Equipment will assist Airport Services Leadership in developing and reviewing Ground Service Equipment (GSE) departmental results, forecasts, and budget. The Senior Analyst will be instrumental not only in helping to analyze our business from a micro and macro level, but in creating tools and resources that will help streamline the GSE operation. The Senior Analyst will also manage ongoing projects, business case development and communications within the Airports Services team to completion. The Senior Analyst coordinates across airports and with other departments focusing on the Airport Service and GSE needs of the Company. Essential Responsibilities Owns the fleet maintenance tool, EBis, to gather and distribute metrics to Airports Leadership Develops and maintains the PowerApps dashboard and database tool for all SystemGSE services Track weekly and monthly performance metrics and budget variances to help leadership assess overall health of the GSE department Determine root cause of operational and financial inefficiencies and recommends process improvement Gather business requirements in order to complete business specifications utilizing various documentation techniques i.e., textual templates, use case diagrams, and scenarios, workflow diagrams, and prototyping Develops presentations and analysis for department leaders on an ad hoc basis Conduct a broad range of quantitative and qualitative research Research and identify applicable best practices from other airlines Conducts business and financial analysis associated with departmental projects, initiatives, and budgeting; including warranty collection, data mining, analysis and auditing Assist BlueCity leadership by advocating for Capital or Labor resources where required and providing guidance/decision support Provide thought leadership and support on critical strategic issues across the Airport Services team including framing, analyzing and recommending courses of action Establishes business cases in support of GSE initiatives and provides forecasted benefits using spreadsheet or simulation modeling Builds and fosters relationships with internal and external Customers Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of work experience in Business, Finance, Operations or a related analytical field Three (3) years of analytical or related experience Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Available for occasional overnight travel (20%) Must pass a pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Preferred Experience and Qualifications Previous Ground Service Equipment experience Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills combined with business judgment and the ability to communicate with senior leadership Fluent in Spanish Self-starter who is eager to participate and contribute in teams Crewmember Expectations: Regular attendance and punctuality Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice Able to maintain a professional appearance When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)) Equipment: Computer and other office equipment Work Environment: Traditional office environment Physical Effort: Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently. (Sedentary) Compensation: The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year.
