SUMMARY: The Receiving Checker is responsible for ensuring that all items are received in compliance with the necessary quality, checking temperature, weighing and counting the products. Completing all documents required and a focus on continuous process improvement. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Print the purchase spect vehicle where items arrivedReview the purchase order's information and items received and confirm that they are the same and correct.Received items temperature, quality, quantity and shelf-life verification.Report verbally and in writing all anomalies present in the items received.Rejecting, record and report damaged or poor-quality items.Fill out the paperwork and regulatory papers that are needed.Enforce items safety and sanitation policies received ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Good verbal and written communication skills - knowledge of Spanish (Preferred)Must be organized and attentive to detailsMust be Self-motivated, have a strong sense of urgency and a bias for actionMust be flexible in challenging and complex work environment while firmly maintaining compliance and upholding standardsPerform all other duties as assignedPay rate: $17.00/hour REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredSome college preferred Computer Skills: Must have a working knowledge of Internet software usage, order processing systems, inventory software and word processing software Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:Must be able interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedure manualsAbility to calculate mathematical valuesMust be knowledgeable in warehousing proceduresAbility to give attention to detail is a must PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
