The Program Supervisor of the Robin Hood Foundation Grant of the SBEHS program reports directly to the Program Director. The Program Supervisor will develop specific plans for the implementation of mental health services for families receiving Early Head Start on the NICU of BronxCare Health System and provide mental health support to the Outreach Coordinator and Family Support Workers of the home visiting program.- Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and other employees. Interacts professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors and other employees. Behaves in a manner consistent with maintaining and furthering a positive public perception of Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center and its employees.- Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department. Contribution and participation includes data collection, analysis, implementation of and compliance with risk management and claims activities, support of and participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) teams, consistent adherence to the specific rules and regulations of the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center (a) Safety and Security Policies, (b) Risk Management: Incident and Occurrence Reporting, (c) Infection Control Policies and Procedures and (d) Patient and Customer Service.- The Program Supervisor may represent the Program Director in project related meetings.- Program Supervisor will work with Program Director to develop specific plans for the implementation of Mental Health services for families receiving Early Head Start on the NICU of BronxCare Health System.- Program Supervisor will work with Program Director in recruiting, hire and train the Family Support Workers and Outreach Coordinator.- Responsible for tracking and evaluating the activities of staff, including the reviewing of staff records and generating written reports as they pertain to staff functions and program operations.- Makes home visits to observe staff strategies for supporting positive parent-child interactions and assess families, when necessary.- Responsible for tracking and evaluating family’s progress on family partnership agreements to include partnering with home visitors during home visits, meeting with staff, and reviewing staff case records to generate written reports.- Alongside the Program Director, will prepare and facilitate infant mental health trainings for staff professional development.- Participates during round/NICU meetings to and work in collaboration with the NICU staff to better support families.- Prior Social Work therapy and/or Mental Health experience- Prior experience in a supervising staff and/or conducting home visits- MSW or CSW (LCSW)- Bachelor’s- Master’s in MSW- Extensive Computer Knowledge
