The Line Cook will assist the Chef and Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all culinary outlets on the property, including but not limited to kitchen sanitation, cleanliness, preparation, and delivery. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department.Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed. Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, camaraderie, and dining room management.For more information on our open opportunities, apply todayResponsibilitiesAssumes 100% responsibility for quality of products servedAssists Chef/Kitchen Manager with set-up and preparation of food items for all food outlets on the propertyCarefully follows standard recipes while preparing all assigned itemsAssists the Chef/Kitchen Manager with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventoryUnderstands how to properly use and maintain the equipmentPerforms necessary clean-up and sanitation maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Chef/Kitchen ManagerHelps distribute food and supplies throughout the food outletsCleans food production, holding and serving equipment when neededAssists with product receiving and/or storage of productsFull compliance with the Department of Health regulationsPerform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager Education and Experience Requirements1-2 years of cooking experienceMinimum education: High School (or equivalent) DiplomaExperience in managing and upholding a safe working conditionUnderstanding the knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling proceduresMust be dependableMust be able to work well in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work in a team environmentMust be able to take directionWorking ConditionsPhysical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scoopingThe employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and handsThe employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 30lbs.Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areasSpecific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perceptionNoise level is moderate to loudWork extended hours during golf and holiday seasonWork weekends and holidays About Troon Troon started as one facility in 1990 and has since grown to become the world's largest professional club management company.
