Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Acute Nurse Practitioner at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield California.Job Description:Full time opportunityAny active state licenseEleven Paid Federal HolidaysJob Requirements:The Nurse Practitioner will have the following requirements:Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited School of Nursing at the time of graduation.Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).Successful completion of a Family Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited School of Nursing at the time of graduation.Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS thru the AHACertified as an Acute-Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult-GerontologyAcute Care) with experience in advanced clinical management of cardiologypatients with a minimum of 6 months experience in the past 36 months, toinclude experience in caring for patients with cardiovascular disease, andexperience with rhythm disorders with a minimum of 6 months experience inthe past 36 months. OR, certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner withexperience in caring for patients with cardiovascular disease, to includeexperience with rhythm disorders with a minimum of 1 year experience in thepast 36 months and experience in caring for patients with pacemaker and ICDimplantation with a minimum of 1 year experience in the past 36 months.Company Overview:Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Militaryand VA Health Systems.
