In this role, you will support the Marketing Category teams by assisting the Brand Manager in the development and execution of new product innovation/renovation, promotions and consumer communication, consumer research, and tracking of competitive activity. Additionally, you will support the Brand Manager and cross functional teams in the daily operations of running the business. This role also includes providing some administrative support to the Brand Management team. This position is located at our Secaucus, NJ office, and has the flexibility to work 3 days in office and 2 days remote.If this role excites you to work at Hartz, we encourage you to apply.Your Responsibilities ...Facilitate the complex cross functional Item Set Up process for the Marketing Team. Track progress and communicate with the cross functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and accurately.Track, proof and route artwork for new innovation, product improvements or refreshes through the internal Legal/Regulatory approval process to meet project deadlines. Ensure all artwork changes by the Brand Manager or the Legal/Regulatory Teams are reflected in a timely manner.Attend weekly cross functional team meeting, take notes, issue minutes and follow up with actions of cross functional team members in support of the Brand Manager's directives.Support e-commerce activities as an active member of the team to ensure the categories they represent are maintained current, well organized and relevant. Working with the Brand Manager to provide direction for updates and changes to , track and report on e-commerce itiate, track and proactively manage various product development process forms from initiation through final approval in a timely manner (New product code requests, item set up, development requests, creative work requests).Collect competitive product information, track and summarize competitive activity and product specs/pricing/claims etc. as requested.Assist in execution of consumer research and tallying or summarizing results to facilitate analysis. Create & process purchase orders.Assist in development and execution of consumer, trade promotion, sales materials and product mock ups - including photos, videos, demos.Provide support for trade shows and sales meetings - developing and executing sales and promotional materials and product for show booths and to support sales presentations.Maintain product display room.Requirements You Need to Have ...High School diploma or equivalent; some college is preferredA minimum of 2 years' administrative support experience in Marketing; CPG experience preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite programsHartz is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
