Trusted.SPA's Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer / Enterprise Architect who will provide support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) office. This person will assist senior personnel working with executive management to address the entire organization by applying architecture methodologies to analyze enterprise-wide chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats and mission analysis of what functions are performed, who performs them, where and when the functions are performed, and how and why they are performed to provide capability to the USA against a terrorist attack.The Systems Engineer will be responsible for applying comprehensive methods for describing current and/or future architecture/structure and behavior of an organization's processes, information systems, personnel and organizational sub-units, so that they align with the organization's core mission, vision, goals and strategic direction.Assist in addressing CBRN architectures (how an adversary may use a pathway to do an attack), performance management (through organizational program reviews) and process architecture. Support enterprise design by developing enterprise schema to map data and process flows between capabilities and solutions. Manage the activities of a team of enterprise architects.Develop plans of action and timetables in order to meet established deadlines. Develop executive briefings, detailed technical documentation, memos, and Contract Deliverables. Finally develop risk assessment scenarios, conduct various displays and reporting of analysis.Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Enterprise Architecture, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related discipline and 6-8 years of professional experience.Experience with the frameworks such as DOTmLPF to assess the architecture and capability gaps. Experience in creating various operational view diagrams and developing compelling written and visual communications that are clear, concise, and suited to the audience. Active Secret and ability to obtain TS/SCI and DHS SuitabilityDesiredMaster’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Enterprise Architecture, or a related discipline.Experience providing analytical support to the Department of Homeland Security.Experience conducting risk assessments related to Weapons of Mass Destruction.Experience with DoDAF viewpoint and modeling software as well as familiarity with WMD defense and deterrence concepts and familiarity with WMD sensors that can detect radiation, chemical or biologic agents, and with non-technical detection methodologies (e.g. law enforcement and intelligence).Active TS/SCI and DHS Suitability
