In this role, you will work as part of a team to solve high-profile real-world problems for your clients relating to electrical and electronics systems. You will perform analyses relating to cutting edge electrical and electronic systems including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technologies.Critically assessing systems and device designs in safety-related risk assessmentsPerforming hands-on testing and analysis of electrical and electronics field failuresConsulting directly with clients regarding ongoing Exponent workPreparing technical proposals, pursuing business developments, and supervising and managing laboratory testingCritically assessing test results, methods of analysis and testing protocols, generating new testing protocols based on new product designs, maintaining a systematic approach to data collection and storage, and report writingPh.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related fieldTechnical background in electronics, electrical circuits, controls or embedded systemsExcellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teamsAbility to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industryAbility to support multiple group projects and market the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice and its consulting servicesApplicants are encouraged to submit a CV with publications (feel free to include publications that are in review or pending) [not restricted to 1 page].To learn more about life at Exponent and our impact, please visit the following links:inspiring, developing, and rewarding exceptional people with diverse backgrounds and expertise are central to our corporate culture.
