Human Resources Coordinator Asplundh is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department by assisting with various administrative tasks and coordination efforts. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who can efficiently manage coordination of a wide range of HR-related activities, including corporate training events, local onsite recruiting event support, and handling incoming calls to the HR department. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Corporate Training Events Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of corporate training events, workshops, and seminars. Collaborate with HR team members and training facilitators to ensure all logistics are in place. Maintain training schedules, track attendance, and compile feedback for continuous improvement. Coordinate training materials, venues, and participant communications. Local Onsite Recruiting Events Support: Provide logistical support for local onsite recruiting events, including career fairs and campus recruitment initiatives. Assist in the setup of event booths, promotional materials, and registration processes. Act as a point of contact for candidates attending recruiting events, answering questions, and directing them to the appropriate recruiters. Collect and organize candidate resumes and contact information. Intake Calls to HR: Handle incoming calls to the HR department. Triage inquiries and requests. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees and external parties. Redirect inquiries to the appropriate HR staff or provide initial assistance when possible. Document and track employee inquiries and concerns for reporting purposes. Administrative Support: Maintain and update HR databases and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as offer letters, policies, and compliance forms. Assist with HR reporting, data analysis, and presentation preparation as needed. Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives. Other responsibilities as assigned. Characteristics of Ideal Candidates: Previous experience in HR coordination, administrative support, or event planning is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and approachable demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with HRIS systems and database management is a plus. Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. Maintains strict confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
