AdvantageCare Physicians is seeking a Nephrology trained physician to join us in pursuit of high-quality patient care for patients with both chronic and acute kidney disorders. This role will split time between two offices in Queens. The Ideal Candidate:One to three years of nephrology clinical experience in an outpatient setting.Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of kidney conditions to improve patient outcomes.Demonstrate clinical excellence and highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained.Patient-centered approach toward a positive patient experience.Excellent communication terest in Population Health petitive Benefit Package:Competitive Base SalarySign-on BonusMalpractice InsuranceContinuing Medical Education (CME) ReimbursementMedical/Dental/Vision Health Insurance401K Retirement PlanRVU Incentive ModelResponsibilities:Conduct comprehensive exams to evaluate kidney function for disease and disorders.Treat a wide spectrum of diseases across the entire continuum including high blood pressure, fluid retention, complex metabolic conditions, electrolyte, acid-based disturbances, mineral imbalance and infections with detailed attention to identify abnormalities and kidney neoplasms.Collect and record patient information, such as medical histories, reports and examination results. Maintain complete and accurate medical records.Order, analyze lab results, and interpret image studies with strong understanding of various medications that affect kidney function.Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.Provide relationship-centered care, considering the patients psychosocial and physical needs.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care municate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care.Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)Completion of four year post graduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) in Internal pletion of two-year fellowship training in NephrologyBoard Certified in Internal MedicineBoard Certified or Eligible in Nephrology MedicineMust possess current, unrestricted New York State license.Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.BLS or ACLS required.Must possess strong communication skills both oral and fortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office
