Government Jobs - Part-Time Permanent - $26.06 Hourly Overview DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Specialized work involving the safety of school children in their endeavor to cross busy roadways during school hours at peak traffic times. School Crossing Guards (SCG) are part-time employees that only report to work on days in accordance with the School Board of Alachua County School Year Calendar. During the summer the SCG might be asked to work summer school if their assigned school participates in a summer school program.
